MIDJOURNEY GALLERY
Prompting images is just another form of writing. And as someone bad at drawing (see the doodle corner below) being able to prompt images has been very liberating.
I wanted something colorful and saturated for the first row. It also features the landscapes I’m drawn to.
The second row is creatures I thought of, partially inspired by Moomin, a Swedish-Finnish cartoon.
The third row is stuff made from Legos that I think look cool as Legos. I tried making Fleetwood Mac as the last image, but it has too many people. So it’s more Fleetwood Mac inspired.
FRASIER IN PHILLY
I loved Frasier growing up, but I always wondered what the show would be like if it took place in Philadelphia. So of course I wrote some new Frasier episodes.
Cheesesteak
Martin wins free cheesesteaks from Jim’s from South Street for a year and brings them home for dinner most nights. Frasier doesn’t want to be rude, so he feeds them to Eddie while Martin isn’t looking. Eddie ends up with high blood pressure and is put on a strict diet. He stares down Frasier for days into confessing his deceit to Martin.
Traffic
Frasier is fed up with the traffic every morning outside his building on 21st & Walnut. He uses his connections with city hall to divert traffic. His protests cause a backlog in the city and no one can get anywhere. The city starts to go insane as witnessed by callers on his show. Unable to take it any longer, city hall reverts the changes.
Christmas Dinner
Waiting until the last minute, Frasier tries shops at the Italian market for Christmas dinner, but he finds it’s closed due to bad weather. The brothers frantically try and book a table at a good restaurant instead, believing their connections will get them in. Unable to get a table anywhere, the family declares defeat and eat jars of olives and sherry at home for Christmas dinner.
Eagles Game
Frasier obtains tickets to an Eagles game, and the whole family (minus Maris) goes so Daphne can experience an American football game. Eagles fans become annoyed by Frasier and Niles’ lack of team spirit because they won’t chant along. After they outright refuse to engage in traditions they view as primitive, they’re tossed from the stadium for not showing support for the team.
The Subway
Frasier’s car isn’t starting and he can’t get a taxi. Martin challenges Frasier to take the subway, declaring his son doesn’t know how to use public transportation. To prove his father wrong, Frasier braves the subway, but gets lost in Suburban Station. He calls Niles in a panic and Niles finds him, but he forgets the way back. The brothers call Martin and their father finds them in a few minutes.
